The 1st International Society of Primary Care Medicine · 2024 Spring Academic Conference will be held at The K Hotel Convention Center for three days from April 19 (Fri.) - April 21 (Sun.).
This academic conference was planned as the first domestically held international academic conference held by the Korean Academy of Family Medicine, and various symposia, training lectures, and workshops will be prepared according to the characteristics of participating members. In particular, to elevate the KAFM's standing in research a series of presentations (oral speeches, poster presentations) by specialists and residents, which has been ongoing since 2013, will be prepared.
On April 19th (Fri.), a seminar and series of presentations will be held for serving physicians and residents, and on April 20th (Sat.) and April 21st (Sun.), various programs will be prepared for private practitioner members and residents, and the geriatric medicine core Review is scheduled to be held.
The detailed conference program will be introduced in the second brochure that will be sent in February.

The 1st International Society of Primary Care Medicine · 2024 Spring Academic Conference will be held at The K Hotel Convention Center for three days from April 19 (Fri) - April 21 (Sun) under the theme of 'Family Medicine, the Center of Primary Care'.

This 3-day international academic conference held in Korea will feature training lectures on the latest knowledge in each field, workshops to be used in direct treatment, presentations and discussions on new knowledge, and exploration of primary care policies and development directions.

On Saturday, April 20, a joint symposium between the Korean Society of Family Medicine and the Korean Society for Depression and Suicide Prevention will be held, as well as a workshop where students could practice musculoskeletal examination, shoulder and local pain injection therapy, and treatment of foreign patients, as well as medical ethics education for residents. On April 21st (Sunday), a depression patient treatment workshop, ultrasound practice workshop, primary care chronic disease management curriculum training, and Korean Medical Association mandatory education will be held. In addition, this conference, which is held as an international academic conference, features a variety of international sessions with overseas speakers from around the world to discuss the latest medical activities and the future of primary care.

The pre-registration period is from 10:00 on March 18th(Monday) to 17:00 on March 29th(Friday), and in principle, pre-registration is through the Korean Association of Family Medicine website. In particular, associate members (residents) must pre-register through the website. Pre-registration is not accepted as a group, so please be sure to register with your individual name.

The registration fee is free for overseas participants, and the information of participants (name, email, contact information, gender, nationality, date of birth)
should be submitted to the Academic Conference Secretariat(kafm@kafm.or.kr ) by April 14, 2024 (Sun).
